tAKE A DEEPER BREATH
Being Advanced Open Water certified allows you to refine your diving skills through experiencing different aspects of diving. After completion of the course, you will then be qualified to go as deep as 30m/100ft. and eligible to enroll in specialty courses, technical courses and more!
Please Read:
You have to be (Junior)Open Water certified and at least 12 years of age.
The course will require you to dedicate 3 days’ time. (Ideally give yourself an extra day or two in case of unexpected circumstances such as getting sick, rough weather…)
Make sure that you are not taking a flight within 18hours after completion of the course.
You need to be healthy. (In accordance to the PADI medical form, click here to download form). To ensure a smooth start, you will need to submit the completed medical form before arrival.
the padi ADVANCED open water course consists of 5 ADVENTURE DIVES:
deep
Deep adventure dive will give you the experience of going beyond 18m/60ft. (30m/100ft. max). This dive will demonstrate the effects of being in deeper depths, and considerations when doing a deep dive.
Peak Performance Buoyancy
Practice makes perfect.
Your instructor will dedicate this dive to practicing you buoyancy through exercises and games to fine tune your buoyancy. Achieving neutral-buoyancy will start to become second nature to you.
night
Night dive allows you will see marine life that are nocturnal which behaviors and creature are not seen in the day. You will also be introduced light management, making you a more proficient diver.
underwater navigation
It is mandatory that you have an underwater navigation adventure dive as part of your PADI Advanced Open Water Course. It consists introductory skills to the usage of the compass and navigational skills.
wreck
Everyone wreck has a story to tell.
Tying historical facts and elements related to wrecks will make the dive much more interesting. In the Wreck adventure, you will have an insight of what is required to do perform a wreck dive.
