Getting your scuba certification is an exciting decision that one can make, opening up a whole new world for you to discover! Once you obtain a dive license, it is valid for a life time and qualifies you to further scuba education in the future.

Please Read:

The course will require you to dedicate 3 days’ time. (Ideally give yourself an extra day or two in case of unexpected circumstances such as getting sick, rough weather…)

Make sure that you are not taking a flight within 18hours after completion of the course. (You will learn why)

As part of the course, you will need to demonstrate a level of swimming ability.

You need to be healthy. (In accordance to the PADI medical form, click here to download form). To ensure a smooth start, you will need to submit the completed medical form before arrival.

The age requirement for the PADI Open Water Course is 10 years old.

#1 THEORY


Learning scuba theory has never been easier! PADI now offers your learning material in digital form through eLearning. The knowledge reviews and tests are to be completed through the user-friendly PADI app. You no longer need to carry a physical text book during your travel and you can get access to your material even after course completion.

DIVING EQUIPMENT

#2 CONFINED-WATER TRAINING


This is where knowledge meets application.

You will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving under the guidance of your instructor in confined waters. Confined water training takes place in shallow water in a controlled environment, preparing you for your four open water dives.

SCUBA DIVERS

#3 FOUR OPEN WATER DIVES


Finally, this is what we all have been waiting for! The four open water dives will take place in the span of two days at the Phi Phi Leh National Park. During the dives, you will perform sets of skills in an open water environment which you would have already mastered in confined-water training.

Once you have successfully completed the open water dives, you are now a certified diver!

FAQ

  • It means that you are a self-sufficient and autonomous diver who is able to manage one’s self under water. After the completion of this course, you are qualified to dive up to 18m / 60ft of depth.

  • All learning material, certification process fee (PIC), necessary equipment for all training dives, insurance, servings of food, water, coffee, tea and fruits for the days of open water dives.

    *Phi Phi Leh National Park fees are to be paid in person.

  • All your training progress is recorded by PADI standards. Therefore, you can always pick up where you left off last on your next diving destination.
